THE GRAND TOUR
Sydney to Brisbane to Cairns

Day 1
Your Great South Pacific journey begins in the evening as the train travels north from Sydney, you enjoy dinner and overnight in the Hunter Valley

Day 2
After breakfast, disembark for a private visit to a Hunter Valley private vineyard and cellar in Australia's wine-growing region for a tour and tasting, on to lunch at a renowned local restaurant with time to enjoy the beautiful location.

Day 3
The GSPE makes its way towards Brisbane, capital of Queensland and Australia's third largest city.
Here you spend 2 nights exploring Brisbane. Overnight in Brisbane at your chosen hotel, (not included)

Day 4
At leisure in Brisbane.

Day5
Leisurely day on board the GSPE after departing Brisbane late morning. Enjoy the passing scenery of rural Queensland.
Day 6
Arrival in Proserpine to discover the Great Barrier Reef, a World Heritage Site. You're flown onto private pontoon to swim, snorkel or simply view the incredible marine life. After lunch, return to the GSPE and enjoy dinner before overnight on board.

Day 7
The train begins its ascent up the scenic MacAlister Range to Kuranda, the "Village in the Rainforst". Take a breathtaking cable car ride above the rain forest tree tops and learn about the unique rainforest environment.
