BRIGHTON MURDER MYSTERY
Step back in time and discover an intriguing murder mystery that
takes you from the train to the splendors of Brighton's Royal Pavilion.
The year is 1933 and you have stepped back in time aboard the Pullman
carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Intrigue is in the
air as you anticipate your visit to Brighton and the jewel in Brighton's
crown - the Royal Pavilion. Over breakfast, you will meet all the
suspicious characters embroiled in a dastardly plot. What is going
on? It's a mystery. On arrival at Hove, you will be greeted by guides
who will escort you to your coach for the ride to the Royal Pavilion.
As you marvel at its splendors, you will have the opportunity to exercise
your mind on what you think you have discovered so far. Something
is afoot in the Music Room and the future of the world could well
be at stake. Someone is up to no good so keep your eyes peeled and

CANTERBURY
Follow in the medieval footsteps of Chaucer; take a guided tour of
the fascinating museum and Cathedral, or discover the city's charms
for yourself. Your journey today takes you to the ancient city of
Canterbury, which has welcomed countless visitors over its 2000-year
history. Pilgrims have journeyed there for centuries to the shrine
of Archbishop Thomas Becket who was murdered in his own cathedral
in 1170. From Victoria, the train takes you to Canterbury East where
you will be met by your guide who will accompany you on a walking
tour of the city to include the cathedral. You will see on your walk
that much of the medieval character celebrated in Chaucer's Canterbury
Tales has been retained in the narrow streets and houses. You return
to Canterbury East to board the train for the journey back to London.

CAMBRIDGE
Stroll through the learned streets of this academic city before exploring
the charming market town of Ely and its mighty Cathedral, the 'Ship
of the Fens'. Our journey today takes you to Cambridge, a city with
a great wealth of architectural styles and then on to Ely, a small
and charming market town, and its crowning glory being the Cathedral.
On arrival at Cambridge Station, you will be met by your guide who,
after a brief coach transfer, will take you on a walking tour (just
over an hour), which will take in the historic atmosphere of the city
and the college. After the tour, you rejoin the coach for the journey
to Ely (about 45 minutes) to visit its fine cathedral. From the cathedral,
there will be a short transfer to Ely Station where you rejoin the
train for the journey back to London.

BATH
Our journey takes you to the City of Bath where you will be met
by guides who will accompany you on a coach tour of this delightful
city. You will visit the Museum of Costume, a worldwide collection
of 17th to 20th century costume, specializing in Old English dress
and court costumes. During 2002, a special exhibition features dresses
from Her Majesty The Queen's collection to celebrate her golden jubilee.
You will also visit the famous Roman Baths and Pump Room, one of the
best preserved Roman sites north of the Alps, where hot mineral water
rises from a spring at a temperature of 46°C. Explore the beauty
of the Ancient Roman's architecture and art, and don't forget to sample
the spa water from the Spa Fountain in the Grand Pump Room. There
will be a little free time for you to explore on your own and you
are asked to make your own way back to the station (Approximately
10 minutes walk from the Pump Rooms). Alternatively, you may prefer
to spend the whole time in Bath at your leisure.

STRATFORD ON AVON
On arrival at Leamington Spa Station, you will be met by your
guide who will accompany you on the drive to Mary Arden House, home
of Shakespeare's mother. After visiting the house and the old farmhouse,
you will be driven to Anne Hathaway's Cottage and then on to Shakespeare's
birthplace in the town centre. You should rejoin the coach at the
Birthplace Coach Terminal in Windsor Street for the return to the
station. As the properties are small it is not possible to guide inside.
Passengers walk through on their own, however, there will be a guide
on each coach who will talk about the properties enroute. The train
is pulled by the Flying Scotsman Steam Locomotive on this journey.
Discover the birthplace of William Shakespeare with a visit to the
houses of his family in which he grew up and spent his early life.

buildings, cobbled streets and winding alleyways where the old has
been carefully restored and blends harmoniously with a modern, developing
city. On arrival at Norwich, you will be met by your guide who will
accompany on the short coach transfer to the cathedral where you will
be given a guided tour. From the cathedral, there will be walking
tour lasting about an hour, taking in points of interest on the way
back to the city centre. You rejoin the coach at City Hall to transfer
back to the station for the return journey to London. Discover the

GRAND NATIONAL
Our journey takes you to the Grand National at Aintree Racecourse.
After traveling on the Pullman from London to Edge Hill Station, there
will be a coach transfer to Aintree. Your Reserved Seat badge will
be given to you on the outward journey and gives you access to Level
1 of the Princess Royal Stand plus all ground level public areas and
bars. You are free to enjoy the afternoon's racing. The coaches will
then return to Liverpool Lime Street where you rejoin the train for
the journey back to London Victoria.
