Back onboard the Rocky Mountaineer you will follow the Thompson River through rolling plateaus into the snowy peaks of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Lake Louise
Travel in comfort between Jasper and Lake Louise by motorcoach. Your driver/guide will show you the highlights of the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic highways in the world. At the Columbia Icefield, you will ride a Snocoach to the middle of Athabasca Glacier. Arrive in Lake Louise in the afternoon. Overnight at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Day 6
Lake Louise

Banff

Board the Rocky Mountaineer and head east to the Canadian Rockies. Travel through vast ranchlands to Shuswap Lake. Enter Rogers Pass, and snake through the Spiral Tunnels before moving on to Banff National Park. Overnight at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Breakfast and lunch onboard. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4
Lake Louise
Meet your driver/guide and concierge on a motorcoach tour of Banff and Yoho National Parks. You will visit man highlights of Banff, such as Bow Falls, the Cave and Basin Centre, Banff Gondola, and the Hoodoos. After lunch (not included) continue into Yoho Park, home of the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge. Overnight at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 5
Jasper
Continue through the Canadian Rockies via motorcoach along the Icefields Parkway. Along this world-famous scenic route is Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Sunwapta Falls and Athabasca Falls. Enjoy a Snocoach ride to the middle of Athabasca Glacier. lunch (not included) at Coombs, continue north through Courtney and Campbell River before an early evening arrival in Port Hardy. Overnight in Port Hardy.

Day 4
Prince Rupert
Depart Port Hardy and cruise northward with BC Ferries* through the awe-inspiring Inside Passage. This 15 hour journey takes you past spectacular coastal rainforests, and majestic coastal mountains. Overnight in Prince Rupert.

Day 1
Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver for an overnight stay.

Day 2
Kamloops
Transfer (included) to Pacific Central Station where you will board the Rocky Mountaineer. Follow the Fraser River through the Coastal Mountains and witness the force of Hell's Gate before it meets with the mighty Thompson River, then on to Kamloops for the evening. Optional
evening at Two River Junction Dinner and Musical Revue. Breakfast and lunch onboard.


Canadian Rockies Getaway Route

Day 3
Banff
Back onboard the Rocky Mountaineer you follow Eagle Pass to the Selkirk Mountains and Rogers Pass into the Canadian Rockies. Snake through the Spiral Tunnels and on to Banff. Transfer (included) to your hotel. Breakfast and lunch onboard.

Day 4
Banff
Enjoy a three hour motorcoach sightseeing tour of Banff.Among the highlights are visits to the Hoodoos, Surprise Corner, the Bow River Valley, the Cave and Basin Centre and Banff Gondola. The rest of the day is free to spend at leisure in Banff. Overnight in Banff.

Day 5
Jasper
Embark on a full-day motorcoach tour of the Icefields Parkway on your way to Jasper. Stop and enjoy the Snocoach ride. Arrive in Jasper early evening. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 6
Jasper
Enjoy a motorcoach tour of Jasper. Among the highlights are Pyramid and Patricia Lakes and Maligne Canyon. The rest of the day is free to explore more of Jasper National Park on your own. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 7
Kamloops
Transfer (included) to Jasper Station where you will board the Rocky Mountaineer. Follow the trail of the Overlanders and view the majesty of Mount Robson, the Rockies' highest peak. Arrive late afternoon in Kamloops for an overnight stay. Breakfast and lunch onboard.

Day 8
Vancouver
Back onboard the Rocky Mountaineer, follow the path of the salmon down to the Pacific Ocean. Wind through the Thompson and Fraser Canyons as well as the Coastal Mountains before arriving in Vancouver late afternoon. Transfer to hotel (included). Breakfast and lunch onboard.

Vancouver
